Owen's Special Verses:
When we first heard about Owen's birth and immediate surgery, we began praying to discern if this was God's special child for us. In prayer one morning, God led us to Isaiah 41:9,10:

"You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off;  do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."

We sensed the Lord's confirmation through these verses.  "Masaru" means victorious in Japanese.  These are the verses that we have chosen for our son and pray for him.
