Elementary
School Boys Camp at our Home
IEric leads a weekly discipleship group for the
first graders at church. They had their annual camp
at our house! It was great fun, with only
one homesick boy, surprisingly no wet futons in
the morning, and good lessons learned. Check
out the pictures below:

The
camp theme was "Courage". Here's
David and Goliath after the main skit.

|
David
and Goliath went to town! The kids loved it.
|
|
|
One
of their favorite treats was eating an aquarium
-- blue jello with gummi fish and octorpus inside.

There
are several neighbor boys who love to come -- almost
daily-- and play outside with Eric. They joined
in on "spoons" and several other camp
events.

we don't have to be afraid.

The
last morning Eric made 2 fires, and showed them
what it must have been like when Elijah cahllenged
the gods of the 450 prophets.
|
|
|
While
Eric was giving the lesson, the neighbor boys gathered
outside the gate to watch. Later, Kenta recounted
the whole story to them!

Wow-
do we have faith like Elijah to publicly challenge
the gods we are up against?
